BIOSTAR, our favorite mining motherboard manufacturer, announced a new non-standard size board for GPU miners. The TB250-BTC D+ has power input and output plugs designed to ease cable management on GPU mining rigs and eight full-size PCI slots so you can avoid riser cards. The PCI 6-pin power connections will also provide power to the board itself, meaning that you can use a PSU designed for a server rather than a standard ATX form factor. The board supports LGA 1151 chips, so you’ll be able to slap in a cheap Pentium to keep costs down.
The board supports up to 16Gb of RAM and has onboard HDMI video output. The TB250-BTC D+ will run a mix of Nvidia and AMD cards and is available for purchase now on Amazon.
